FULL-TIME LIVE-IN NANNY / HOUSEKEEPER – LONG-TERM POSITION

We are looking for a full-time live-in nanny/housekeeper to join our family on a long-term basis.

We have three young children aged 5 years, 3 years and 7 months. The position combines childcare with the day-to-day care and organisation of our home while the children are at school and nursery.

This is a formal, declared Monday-to-Saturday position.

GENERAL SCHEDULE
The working day starts at 7:30am and is organised around the children’s routine.
Mornings begin with getting the children ready and taking the two older children to school. Once they are at school and nursery, the rest of the morning is dedicated to housekeeping, home organisation and meal preparation.
There is a completely free personal break every day from 12pm to 2pm.

Work resumes at 2pm with preparing the house and meals for the end of the day, followed by school pick-up at 4:20pm. The late afternoon and early evening are then primarily dedicated to the children until they have had dinner.

CHILDCARE
In the morning, you will help get all three children ready for their day. This includes preparing and serving breakfast for the two older children, helping with dressing and getting their things ready, and taking the two older children to school for 8:20am.

Our 7-month-old baby attends nursery. We take care of both nursery drop-off and pick-up ourselves.

At 4:20pm, you will collect our 3-year-old from school. Her personal Nany will collect our 5-year-old ourselves .

After school, we would like you to be fully engaged with the children: afternoon snack, playing, reading, age-appropriate activities and spending quality time together, followed by preparing and serving their dinner.

We generally take care of bedtime ourselves. Occasionally, and always arranged in advance, we may ask you to babysit in the evening and manage bedtime when we go out.

HOUSEHOLD RESPONSIBILITIES
While the children are at school and nursery, you will be responsible for the day-to-day care and organisation of our home.
This includes general housekeeping and tidying, laundry, ironing, changing bed linen and towels, cleaning windows when required, and generally keeping the house clean, organised, fresh and welcoming.
You will also be responsible for preparing family meals.

Once a week, you will shop for fresh produce, mainly fruit and vegetables. All other groceries are ordered by us and delivered directly to the house.

ACCOMMODATION
This is a genuine live-in position.
You will have your own large private bedroom and private bathroom within our home.
Your accommodation is located on a floor that also includes the children’s playroom, while still providing you with your own private space.

Outside your working hours, your time is entirely your own.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone experienced with babies and young children who is warm, caring and patient.
For the household side of the role, we value someone who is extremely clean, tidy and organised, able to work independently, take initiative and naturally recognise what needs to be done without requiring constant instructions.

Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Beyond experience, we would particularly like to meet someone looking for a stable, long-term position and who would enjoy building a lasting relationship of trust with our family.

Verifiable references will be required.

This is a declared position with a formal employment contract.
